Privacy notice
Last updated: 3 September 2026
Coleshill Brickwork respects your privacy. This notice explains what personal information we collect, why we use it and the choices you have.
Who is responsible for your information?
Coleshill Brickwork is the trading name used by the self-employed bricklayers providing the service. For privacy questions or requests, email enquiries@coleshillbrickwork.co.uk.
Information we collect
- Your name, email address and phone number.
- Your project postcode or location.
- Details, drawings and photographs you provide about the work.
- Messages, quotations, invoices and records relating to a project.
- Limited technical and security logs created by our website provider.
Please do not send sensitive personal or financial information through the enquiry form.
How the website enquiry works
When online delivery is available, the website sends the information you enter to our protected enquiry receiver. If that service is unavailable, the website prepares an email containing your project details for you to check and send from your own email account. The fallback does not send anything until you press send in your email app.
How and why we use it
We use enquiry details to respond, understand the proposed work, arrange a visit and prepare a quotation. Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering a contract. If work goes ahead, we use the information to deliver and manage that contract. We may also keep records where necessary for legal obligations and the legitimate interests of running and protecting the business.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your information. We may share only what is necessary with website and Google Workspace service providers, professional advisers, insurers, authorities where the law requires it, and trades or suppliers involved in pricing or delivering your project. We remain responsible for using your information appropriately.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become projects are normally kept for up to 18 months so we can follow up and understand previous discussions. Project, contract and accounting records may normally be kept for up to six years after the relevant transaction or relationship, unless the law or a live dispute requires a different period. We delete information when it is no longer needed.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you can ask for access to your personal information, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or a portable copy. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office. Contact us first if you would like us to resolve a concern.
Security and international services
We use reasonable access controls and reputable service providers to protect information. Some providers may process information outside the UK; where that happens, the provider’s lawful transfer safeguards apply. No internet service is completely risk-free, so please use email for anything you would rather not place in the form.
Changes to this notice
We will update this page if our services or use of personal information changes.
